The Lighthouse, Trinity Buoy Wharf, 64 Orchard Place, London E14 0JW
The original Longplayer installation, running since the 31st December 1999, is situated inside the 19th century lighthouse at Trinity Buoy Wharf.
Opening Hours : open first weekend of each month, 11 am - 5pm. Free, no charge (though donations are welcome !).
Train : DLR train to East India. Do NOT take the bridge across the road to the offices.
Take the stairs down that are nearest the riverside and turn right (east) along the main road, Aspen Way. This will take you up to a round about.
Go around this, keeping the river to your right, and down the slip road. See map below.
Bus : 277 bus to Leamouth.
Boat : you can take a boat from the centre of London to QE2 pier wich is on the opposite bank.
From there take a Jubilee Line train to Canning Town. One stop on the DLR takes you to East India.
Long winded but pleasant !
