The second Longplayer Day took place in London on Thursday 20 June. Longplayer Day is a one of a kind arts festival that, for its first two editions, has taken place from midday to midnight at a series of locations along a walking route from Deptford to Trinity Buoy Wharf.
Inspired by ideas connected to Longplayer and curated by research staff at our partner organisation Goldsmiths, University of London, there were a series of newly commissioned live performances as well as talks and screenings from a fantastic range of artists and thinkers.
The whole day was free and accessible either in person or via an online live stream. Visitors were welcome to join for the whole event or for as long as they wished. Find out full details, including timings and locations on the dedicated Longplayer Day microsite.
Longplayer Day 2020 will take place at Yorkshire Sculpture Park on the 21st June 2020.
