Longplayer Day is a free 12-hour multi-arts festival. Its curated programme of new artistic commissions, performances, talks, screenings and workshops is inspired by Longplayer and explore time and duration, long-term behaviours and environmental awareness.
In keeping with the festival’s themes, Longplayer Day takes place biennially on or around the summer solstice (the longest day of the year). This year it took place on the 20th June, midday – midnight.
